Ugur Kursuncu

I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Institute, University of South Carolina. I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Georgia. My research is at the intersection of humans, society, and computers, designing socially responsible human-centered intelligent systems by integrating knowledge to significantly enhance contemporary AI and data science methods. My work investigates approaches for effective measurement, intervention, and decision-making, to address challenging problems in society, health, politics, and education, including social, racial, and economic inequality.
